B.S.A.Meteor, refurbishment help! broken sear.

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am on my third refurb of a BSA meteor MK1/2 ? TD 43879, but I have struck a problem?

One of the sears is broke! I have checked chambers site and there is no picture of the sears!

Personally I think chambers are expensive to deal with any way!!

Here are some pics

this pic shows how it should work,i have assembled it on the out side of the unit so you can see clearly how it functions

If anyone can point me in the right direction where i could purchase such sear, I would be very grateful. i shall give John Knibbs a ring Thursday, Because they helped me out on my last refurb and they are cheaper than chambers!

Thanks in Advance

Hi Davy.

Good luck with your search.

Could you not make your own mate, some good quailty files and and a bench grinder, away you go.
