Alhoy 0 Posted March 15, 2007 Report Share Posted March 15, 2007 have bought the sun shade..& can cover.....still have white shading on scope...moved the lamp here ..there 7 every where..still white shading... am using a clulite lanp on a leupold 39 x 50 scope..with t8 mod....any more suggestions...'even another type of lamp that sits up higher from the scope'.... cheers....Alhoy Quote Link to post

After some time , I realised that even with a neoprene cover on , the light was reflecting off of the mod. With the light on, I tried to find which bit was reflecting. It turns out it was the back of the T8. If I covered this area with my finger it was OK. What I do now is stretch the neoprene cover back towards the barrel and let it hang down untill it is just off the barrel. I also repositioned the butler creek cover to just off centre, to take some of the downward light away. I use a lightforce 170 and this gives enough power and adjustment to allow me to see, even with the scope covers up. Hope this helps. Quote Link to post

Hope this helps. hi there...the neoprene mod cover is the type that covers the end of the mod...its fitted from the back of the mod ..then pushed to the front... Quote Link to post
