jigsaw 11,863
please dont try and compare an english bull with a pit,I've owned both and there just isnt any comparison. The E/B make as good a pet as the pitt, but in my opinion the wedge heads are ugly bas***ds,but thats just MY opinion.I had 4 e/bulls over a period of time,I'd never have one inside a kennel again.I have pitts now and what a dog, family friendly and obedient and full of the joys of life, sureshot have you ever owned a pitt. This is not an argumentitive question, just would like to know if you are comparing from experience. When you say the pitt is not better than the english,in what way do you mean.Pardon the questions but would like to see how you view both breeds.Again not argumentitive I respect your opinion, whatever it may be. Guest baldie
It wouldn, t be a legal pit. The original dogs would all be dead from when the act came in now, and they all had to be registered and castrated/spayed, to stop the breed progressing. It should have a muzzle on in public too, whether its a pitt or not, if she knows it bites. Be carefull whats put in this thread please, the other side are constantly watching. Guest Dale
if it was a pure pittbull i think you would know the differnce with an english : an english as them dodgy looking heads : a pittbull is more formed and the better looking of the to i think : as people have said if it was a pitt it almost would have been an illegal pitt Dale

Hob&Jill 258
Comparing Pits to EBT, But to be fair there are some truely buggerd up Pitbulls about now Personally I put my dogs on lead if any dogs come, Just to save trouble. I was walking my old dog the other day, through a smally lane that leads up to some fields, when up runs a Miniture Longhaired Dachshund, I said to the woman ' Id put on the lead if I were you ' Perfectly friendy I said it. Stupid woman replys ' Dont worry shes fine with other dogs ' Before I had the chance to say anything Old Dog has bit the poor little sod Thats got to be the thing that annoys me the most when dogs run up to you off lead, without there owners even making an effort to get them away, As if there dog is absolutly fecking perfect and everyone want to meet them, well I FECKING DONT! Sorry, little story over Edited March 16, 2007 by Hob&Jill
