Carlos quick fire 26 Posted September 12, 2011 Report Share Posted September 12, 2011 Hi all, think me starting motor has gone on me vitara, [bANNED TEXT] a turn the key wait for the heater plug light on the dash to go off then all a get is a little magnetic sound from the start motor (cellanoid) then nothing after that it don't even try to turn over . bouncer 51 Posted September 12, 2011 Report Share Posted September 12, 2011 sounds like starter is stuck,like lab says hit starter with a hammer a few times then try.what i used to do as well was put it in gear and rock it back and fore and that used to release it as well.
