festa 206 Posted September 11, 2011 Report Share Posted September 11, 2011 (edited) hi lads well i gained a new ratting permission on thursday so we decided to head over a bit earlier just to give the place a once over before it got dark after speaking to the owner and getting the nod to control rats,ferals and rabbits we headed over to the indoor arena before it got dark we managed 3 ferals unfortunately we left the scopecam in the car but on the way back to the stable block we nipped to the car had a quick cuppa picked the scopecam up and fitted the lamps to the guns for some good old fashioned ratting but as soon as we turned the lamp on the rats scattered so we very quickly changed to the nv set ups and managed to get some cracking footage for the new charity dvd we managed 10 rats but could only recover 6 with one of them as big a wor kids foot after an hour of so the rats made a quick retreat so we came away and headed for a quick look on the paddocks were we managed 1 bunny each so all in all 3 ferals 10 rats 2 bunnies all in all the new permission might be small but has plenty to keep us busy atb gary Edited September 11, 2011 by festa Quote Link to post
