yes mate all from the motor and never on permission we use a few dogs ect but used to kill any thing between 4 and 11 in a night 3 times a week now its all on permission and if i wish to keep it all cart make a mess on the land so have to pick and chose where and what i do was out last night could have had a few foxes and a few roe but stuck to rabbits all i will say is i did mange to get bit by one not a nice feeling

not quite but some off us did things and some didn't Ive killed 3 in on the beach next to me with in 25 mints of each outer what big in that ???

Just wondering what you guys would consider a good seasons tally pre-ban on a variety of species, did you keep a record and now the bunny is the only legal quarry available to many of us what would you consider a good season.

This isn't a willy measuring thread to talk about big bags specifically as one mans good haul will not be another and there will be many varients including land and quarry available...............

Tomo your my kind of hunter..

we had a farm on the Scottish borders, the gamekeeper told us he had 10,000 rabbits off it in one year, we got it in the August and by the December we had taken 3000 off it, lamping, ferreting and some night time long netting. Best day ferreting was 82, or it could have been 83, I will check my records, a hunters paradise..

i do shoot,, but only on little pest control jobs around gardens and the odd trip round a golf cours,, between 50 and 100 taken with the air rifle

the most deer i got in one season was 86, foxes 73 with 2 dogs

Most roe I've had in a single season with my own dog single handed was 29, I'd guess we got more than 50 if I included doubled up and other lads dogs getting them etc. If you made long trips down south every week or two to lamp your could easily get over 100 with the right dogs in a season IMO.
