as the topic title reads, we've plastered a full house (well nearly finished it) and i was in the pub yesterday and people were saying paki's never pay and always haggle to price down. If you've not been paid how did you resort to get your money?

if you have a signed contract then you can go down the law route but if you dont you will have to beat it out of them.

Legal is a long route and generally a waste of time and your money. Try and threaten them with it and go down the small claims route . there are obviously others means to try but you will find that this ducked up government and legal system protect the shafters and not the hard working shaftees. i.e. if we take a boiler back out of someone's house we are criminally liable . you may be lucky and get it from them with some gentle persuasion ! or learn from it and take stage payments . No doubt there will be less gentle ways of getting back what's yours posted on here. good luck

Every builder i know who has done work for them has been ripped of on the aggreed price it would be a different story if any white person only aggreed to give them half of the money for a take away or a taxi fare they wouldent put up with it and why should hard working builders.

sold cars to quite a few and always try and chip you after the deal has been done even after they have left deposit they want another discount when they pick it up .real hard work but as others have said try getting discount of them lol.
