Why eat wild game / meat ?

Recommended Posts

If you are looking at ethics and welfare, animals reared for meat may be injected with hormones/steroids, kept in abnormal and unnatural conditions and lead a stressfull life, whereas wild game lives its life in natural surroundings, eats a natural diet and i know which is more ethical in my mind, an animal that is run and killed after a short run, or animals loaded, transported, unloaded and them slaughtered.................

Plus there's no wastage: we eat the best bits, the dogs eat the rest, along with the ferrets, and even the chickens get a look in on manky carcases: I'm convinced their high protein diet is what keeps them laying well, even into their fourth year!
