How Bob Martin are still getting away with providing these products is a mystery! The active ingredient is Permethrin and is mainly used as a crop insecticide. Permethrin attacks the central nervous system of the parasites, but it can also unforunately attacks the CNS of the animals too. Cats/kittens & ferrets are sensitive to Permethrin. I dont blame you Joe . it seems false economy if all it does is seemingly deter fleas, I couldnt find anything to suggest your ferret WONT get fleas even if you use this as a preventative measure Quote Link to post
