Kay 3,709 Posted March 15, 2007 Report Share Posted March 15, 2007 I had not had hobs in season for yrs unill now, previous 2 were castrated, yesterday one of my hobs started to pant with his tongue stiking through the front of the cage i have obly ever encountered this twice before with hobs, i just wondered if anyone elses hobs have ever done it. It not just if i went outside as in an attention thing, i could hear the panting from the kitchen i was told its because he is in season, justwondering if anyone else has had the same thing Quote Link to post

Well i checked the for food in the mouth & it was clear , so he must need a shag as you say , i am going to have to watch them like a hawk over the next day or so, make sure they are not getting randy with each other I really cant believe they have not ripped chunks out of each other, in the past i would have had to seperate males as soon as there balls had dropped Quote Link to post
