Maybe they are worried after a few beers a riot will spark out and marr the 10th anniversary. Only a theory...... Still shocking that the people who risked there live for others are not welcomesd with open arms....... didnt see it but heard cops wouldnt use the helicopter radio to tell the firemen in the second tower to get out Yes that happened. Seemingly years ago when there was a massive fire at the twin towers the police used there helicopter to rescue people from the top of the towers, think they wound up the firebrigade when they said they shouldn't have done that. Think the media showed the police out to be the heroes which obviously pissed off the firefighters risking there lives inside the building when they were just f*****g about on the top of it... gnasher16 30,470 Posted September 9, 2011 Report Share Posted September 9, 2011 (edited) Not to make light of the absolute unquestionable evil and horror of the 19 scumbags who committed these acts.........but i think its hard not to have a slight grudging respect for the strength of character these men had.....not those behind it who either financed or organised it,but those who actually lived their lives knowing this day was coming......ive read some about Mohammed Atta and putting the atrocities of his actions to one side for a moment.....he must have been a totally dedicated and mentally strong person to live his life,show the total calmness and commitment to his own death that he did......i know they didnt really see lifes values the same way we do but even so he/they had the same everyday temptations we all have......what i also find amazing is apart from Atta who was a pretty intense looking dude,the rest all looked like normal little joe dakies you see walking out of colleges or in corner shops every day......they all looked pretty harmless.....just go,s to show !.......its just another part of the whole thing i find really fascinating. I think it takes an extremely strong mind to think so clearly and calmly to be able to perform a very difficult task knowing your life is about to end.............i know my arse would be flapping anyway ! The one thing i do think they are telling porkies about though, is the fourth plane. I rekon they shot it down and dont want to stir up a shit storm with the public bu admiting it. Its a better story to say the passengers fought back and prevented the plane from hitting a target. (If that did happen, they get my respect ) ive always said the same thing john,and tbh i dont think anyone would blame them really,if they just admitted they shot it down,it was a tough day,and even a tougher decision to shoot the plane down.lets face it,no matter what,those people on that plane were gonna die.and if it saved a lot more dying on the ground shooting it down.Then im sure the people on that plane would have chose that. The Yanks had nothing to shoot them down with at the time, lads, They'd no armed planes anywhere near the area but there was talk of them trying to litterally crash fighters into any planes if really came down to it.
