Dazzam 239
I bought one that was barely alive a while back, literally skin and bone, because i felt sorry for it. I fed it separately for a number of weeks and it bounced back very quickly. It was so malnurished that it could only eat a little at the beginning and then fell asleep as soon as it had eaten. After it had recovered i managed to get a few ferreting outings with it before the end of the season and it worked a treat. It's one of the tamest ferrets i have owned and it now has 5 kits in the nest about 4 weeks old. I fed it on high fat minced beef, with a little egg and milk mixed in with it a number of times throughout the day for the first week and then fed it whatever my other ferrets were getting. Well done on taking it in, it will bounce back very quickly. All the best. Quote Link to post
