philg 0
Never bothered measuring my nets from the day I had them, I would imagine there around the 18-20 inch mark though  If they catch ok when your out daytime ferreting then leave them well alone, why is it everyone seems to be getting long nets sorted this time in the season Quote Link to post
mole catcher 1
my nets are set at about the 18-20inch mark aswell, seem to work fine allthough in longer grass i will raise them a little Quote Link to post

Guest The Big Fish
Yea its double bagging, the length about 30 yards, so total netting made is around 60 yards. Carnt wait to try it out Quote Link to post

Guest The Big Fish
The green net is yours, just as soon as i remove the poles. It must be 20 years old at the least, one of the originals Make sure your good at patching holes Quote Link to post
mole catcher 1
BIG FISH, yes that net in the pic is a hand made net, 100yrds long with a 100% bagging. back in december i put up a post ( keeping old skills alive) on how it was made to show those who fancied having a go at making one. Your right it is a great feeling to make and catch in a hand made net, keep it up and get started on that 100 yarder Quote Link to post
