sorry to hear all this lad mine broke his leg the other seasan had to have his leg of the cost was about 2000 in all but i still run him on 3 legs he still catches four me but as many has he did befour so he is semi retird now this is him

Sorry to hear that mate as I put a thread up saying the exact same thing IS it worth it as my young bitch broke her leg back end of last season about 8 mnth old n that screaming is even worse when it's your own dog luckily some guys heard that were working nights on the railway came n helped me as one of them worked dogs else I'd of been f****d as I was on foot with 2 dogs a nightmare cost about 900 and wish I had her pts as she having problems now with it. And they all said get back in the saddle so last night went out with the bullx pup and she did well surprised me how agile she was and got that buzz back so yes it is worth it. Hope it gies well with both dogs mate

Just spoke to the vet he seems quite positive that the leg can be saved so the big lad is going under the knife at half eight friday morning operation should take about 5 hours so fingers crossed.

Its a noise you never forget, known two dogs have bad breaks, one came back strong, the other didn't.......I have also been ferreting with a three legged collie lurcher that was amazing, is still caught plenty of bolters......

this one looks the worst but vet told me that the small one behind the toes was down to the joint,

mates dog got its leg pinned back together today, got a txt to say operation was a success, unsure of the details though im sure he will come on and update us soon,

chuffed to bits they managed to save the leg.

savage that, i had an incident where my dog was running a bunny and it went into some growth and my dog followed and i seen him hit the deck and roll over he got tangled in barbed wire left in the midle of the field, just layed still untill i got to him and much to my delight had the bunny in his mouth lol but he was fine no injury but it shits you up
