Hardly fecking sporting catching a bloody guinea pig is it   I'd get pine martins on the go, not for hunting just everywhere where there are grey squirrels to try and get a bit of a balance going

Guinea pigs are a domestic species and releasing them into the 'wild' would be cruel and should not be done. They probably wouldn't survive long enough to establish a breeding colony due to predation. They are especially suspectible for respiratory disease and would not cope well with the wet UK weather.

I would like to see racoon on the quarry list for species to be hunted with dogs. I have hunted them with terriers in the US and found it very exciting.

Domesticated they may be but feral youngsters out of them would not be and there's no way they'd let you near them to pick them up, only their colours would show their ancestry. Same as with feral moggys, pigeons and ferrets etc. The wild boar in this country were 'domestic' as they were in captivity getting fed and watered but as soon as they get out instinct kicks in.

There is no wild living guinea pigs. The closest living wild species is the cavy, but it is a different species. Guineas don't burrow, so they would have very little defence from predators in the UK.

The wild boar were never domesticated. They were captive wild animals. Thats why a dangerous animals licence was required to keep them.

Can't believe iv red people would release guinea pigs and want to hunt them, even more amazed at the fact somebody tried it?????

Pine martins are still in Scotland causing problems for highland gamekeepers, think I'd rather shoot squirrels than let more of them go to cause havoc although I will say I'm happy their not extinct.

Cheers for the offer of letting wolves go in our country trappa, do you reside in Scotland? Or would you just come up every couple of years and visit and see them while we live with them killing our deer and causing problems for residents of this country?

Although I would really like boar to be released I think it could cause a lot of problems in the countryside so it's a tough 1.

Wolverines and unicorns.

You should know we have unicorns in LIncolnshire, although pure lines are getting rarer as they are interbreeding with fallow and being predated upon by cave trolls...........
