what sort of education have you had,

Recommended Posts

Fecked about at school, but managed one A level: English  Did a typing course: thank God I did, though I never used it for years and years and years while I learned how to live, stay alive, and most importantly, enjoyed myself  Was in entertainment for a few brief years: didn't have the x factor :tongue2: :tongue2:. I've been a goat herd, a potter, worked in pet food industry (now you know why I feed raw!) animal rescue, (but had to leave when they found out that I was also hunting the cute furry animals they rescued    ), and pest control. Now a bit crippled up from a life lived too hard and fast, but damn it, its been fun :D

Entertainment,,,? you weren't one of those dancing dogs act that crop up from time to time on them fecking shows were ya,,

O level in maths english and history really really wish i,d have done better at school...but at least i can read and write unlike some of the muppets on here

There are certainly some well educated people on this board , then there are less well schooled people , but make up for it with common sense and experience . Other posters can be a bit harder to fat

no shit

Don't lie lab you have more money then Bill Gates.

I finished 6th year at school, hated every minute of it, but still got a few highers. Enough to get to uni at least.

Done an honours degree in sustainable environmental management but left in the third year because I was offered this job.

Thank feck I did because I would have been coming out last october and would probably be a regular viewer of the jeremy kyle show by now.

Other posters can be a bit harder to fathom , and seem to have difficulty getting thier point across but their view is no less valid for that.

Then there is Dances.

Ha ha ha! Nope, just a singer in a little local band that never made it. Hey ho, decided to 'retire' to the mountains and become a goat herd.

I was kicked out of school at 13, I couldn't get into another school so was sent on a Bridge course which just made most kids worse IMO. When I wasn't there I was working as a fencer with my Granddad. I've got a few qualifications (Graphic Design, Web design and Plastering) but they aren't worth the paper they're wrote on. Nothing can beat hands on experience IMO.

I can recall desks and books being there. But most of the time I sat staring out the window waiting for the bell.

11 Gcse's, 4 A Levels, and a degree in photography . . . . .. . which is all well and good, but life experience counts for a lot. I've been lucky enough to travel a fair amount and have dealt with a variety of situations and scenarios that have educated me far more than a paper qualification. :victory:

I was told when leaving primary school I'd be lucky to leave school with a hope let alone a qualification.

Did ok considering I was expelled from about 5 schools..........ended up in a "special" school for problem kids(easily led I was).Got a few O levels but they didn't do me any good,I'm now a jack of all trades but master of none!
