Bootsha 1,306
I didn't mean to insult him, I'm afraid I know little about bulls and just thought he was a niced shaped dog I didn't see it as an insult myself mate, you just merely commented on the stamp of the dog, which I agree with you on , after all, this is an open forum and EVERYONE is entitled to their opinion, were not all oficionados of the pitbull world with a wealth of experience to draw on regarding pedigrees etc. I agree, he's a nice stamp of dog. j1985 1,984
Looks like a ghetto bred dog is what he meant, that could well be a full pit by ped but it has probably been bred not for ability/gameness from tried and tested stock but for a certain look which is the downfall of any breed! B Stone me...no need to get all upset and offended...............i merely meant if you told Joe Frazier he had a nice pair of thighs he most likely would be insulted that you hadnt realised he was one of the gamest fighting men to have ever stepped into a boxing ring !......if you didnt know Joe Frazier was a boxer then so be it,and likewise That red dog looks typical of the ornamental caricatures todays ghetto kids are walking round with......certainly not " a proper apbt " as was described ! YOKEL 2,287
the a.p.b.t. like any performance breed, should be about PERFORMANCE & bred for such alone. once you start breeding for leg length, colour, green eyes, red noses & fancy paper work etc, it all goes to pot. i've owned specimens ranging from 26lb to 54lb, some with box heads, others houndy looking critters, wide chests/narrow chests, long/short etc. at the end of the day they don't need a uniform conformation, if they perform then they are built right...just my tuppence worth...
