pit pup

Recommended Posts

Talking of Lees breed stuff the 'Shadow' dog allways looked very Stafford-like to me...yet was a pure pitbull and in my opinion a very good producer (and a very handsome animal)...alot of Staffs look like pitbulls and a lot of pit bulls that look like Staffs...theres no way anyone can look at a pic of a 9 month pup on the intetnet and tell 100% for sure...pups got a lot of growing to do over the next 12 mnth till hes the finished article

Wouldnt say Shadow was a particularly great producer especially when you realise he was heavy Tonka who was a rom and both Tonkas parents were rom......could be said he wasnt put to great bitches but then it could also be said a real good producer dont need to be and thats what makes them great producers.

Agree about the youngster pictured though.

I dont want to get into the ins and outs of other lads dogs...i simply used Shadow as an example of a dog that 'looked' like a Stafford but was all Pitbull where it counts...having 2 CH in the same litter out of a bitch with a good drop of Stafford blood in her IN MY OPINION makes the dog a pretty good producer...obviously all the breedings you was involved in resulted in a ROM litter deep game fast lane ect ect (no need to answer that lol)...

awww bless,a teeny weeny difference of opinion always brings out the beast in you dont it mr brindle....your back to the old sarcasm and suggestive comments again, like ive told you before if you have a question dont be shy just ask ;)

If you want to call a dog a great producer because it produced a few dogs that won over mediocre opposition then thats fine.....but what do you then call a dog who produced a lot of dogs that won over a lot of very good opposition...theres not many words above great is there.......but hey thats your opinion and thats cool

What line or lines of bull's did you keep gnasher when owning the breed was legal back then ?

Like most did i went through the early Alligator stuff and the odd Reid dog but same as most folk do ended up settling on something i liked and doing my own thing.

No i didnt say he was 'Great' or the greatest or the bestest...you see in this old country boys mind of mine a dog that produces a CH is a good producer and one that produces 2 CH in one litter then to me its a very good producer... just my opinion... cant control the old sarcasm but..."Suggestive comments" ? ...its just sometimes you come across as a bit of a pompus know it all...i like to give ya a sly dig dont take it to heart you know i think your the greatest

Pompous...wow ive been called some names in my time but thats a definate improvement on the usual ones.. i quite like it cheers  .....

Well you see in this old city boys mind a dog from roms thats bred to produce, that produces 6 champions in every litter it throws aint necessarily a great or even good producer if there running into billy bronco and his beagle every other weekend.........but again,if a mans happy with his lot then he,s entitled to call it double super duper if he likes after all ultimately a man only has himself to answer to.

Seeing your a big scarey doorman i better mind my manners :whistling: so no i dont take your digs to heart i realise your a harmless chap and you seem to know a little about dogs so its all good....

The suggestive comments thing was in preparation for any more Clint Eastwood lines that might come my way

sayin a dog that can pruduce a champ i a good producer thats not the case always take floyd b for example he trough 70 80 pups probably more and only ever produced one bitch call ch screech ..so imo i dont call that dog a good pruducer its through one thats it lol .. im not a fan of the bordreaux stuff myself but everyone to there own .. but now look at the dog chucky 2xw even tho he never got the chaince to make a ch but he throwin pups that are winners and are making the box . as i say its all coming from the jett dog might not have been the best hiself but his off spring works well
