TWOTWOTHREE 152
A few years back I took one of the Harris hawks in the house while I grabbed a coat before u went to fly her as this particular day was a little nippy, anyway I popped Hilda (the hawk) on the back of the chair while I put the coat on,un be known to me the cat was fast asleep in the empty washing basket,I didn't see it un til the second Hilda took off from the chair,we got to the cat at the same time, I grabbed for the bird and the cat to try and stop a blood bath, one talon got the cats neck and the other got my arm,my first thought was oh shit if Hilda kills this cat im in trouble,I held on to both of them as something had to give, unfortunately it was my arm where the cat ripped it to bits,it's claws went down to the pads And it's teeth to the gums, lucky for me Hilda went for a better grip and relaxed enough for me to pull her off,the moral of this story is put the washing basket away, ha ha,never felt pain like it.
