All the usual details, as follows: Venue: Dunsilly Kennels, Milltown Road, Antrim, BT41 2JJ Gate opens 12 Midday Signing in for racing 12.00 - 12.30 No entries will be taken after this time. Grading starts at 12.45 Show will start at approx 1.30 Racing will commence immediately after showing. The committee would like to remind everyone that this is for pure bred whippets only (K.C. and Non K.C. registered are welcome) and those wishing to race their dogs need to bring their own muzzles. Any donations of prizes for our final raffle will be gratefully received. This show will include the end of year barbeque and the club's annual Champion of Champions event. Qualifiers for the Champion of Champions so far are as follows : Nikki Erwin with Zak Graham Meek with Merlin Janet Boyce with Taz Davy Best with Penny Billy ? with Brock Hope to see you all there with your lovely whippets!! Dazzam 239 Posted September 11, 2011 Report Share Posted September 11, 2011 Went to this show today. Being the first N.I. Sporting Whippet Club show i had been at i didn't know what to expect. Fantastic facilities in a lovely part of Antrim. Free in, free burgers, sausages, pasta, rice, wine and much more. Nice relaxed friendly atmosphere. bluebell 418 Posted September 14, 2011 Report Share Posted September 14, 2011 Chairman of the Mid Antrim WTLC Seamus Erwin presents Janet Duke Chairperson of the Working Whippet Club of N.I. with the Mid Antrim Perputal Challenge Cup for Champion of Champions Whippet. This trophy was presented in recognition of the clubs support for the whippet events at the Mid Antrim Club Shows, in the past and hopefully in the future. Seamus would also like to thank out going Mid Antrim Club Secretary Matt Lee all the best for the future with the Glen Bank W.D.C.
