joehoskin 0 Posted September 5, 2011 Report Share Posted September 5, 2011 my dad has caught what i think is a wild polecat its a lot bigger than my ferrets and is black as the ace of spades, but you cant get near it becuse it is so viscious . do you think i could tame it some how? . i also think it is quite old but i dont know. joehoskin 0 Posted September 5, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 5, 2011 dont realy want to let it go near where dad found it because theirs a chicken farm not far away and my dad also has chickens ,it will end up dead. my dad found it down a pit and it was on its last legs , weve managed to get it looking a lot better. jac 12 Posted September 5, 2011 Report Share Posted September 5, 2011 You need a licene to keep a mink. thay are not as nasty as people think and even full grown ones can be tamed but you will need a escape proof enclosure and water for it to swim in. I have a rescue one myself. if its a wild Polecat then it's protected and can be set free once its better . Quote Link to post
