whin 463
never been a small dog fan as a lurcher to me is an allrounder when i was doing rabbits ful time i had a beardie collie grey and aline bred collie grew both were more than ample for fwerreting in all waeather and lamping whippets on there own would not stand the cold there feet would burst up and well , there no were as hardy as agood line bred collie cross or terreir cross all the best Quote Link to post
Guest JDF
if iv'e read you right this is your first running dog,imo you'd be better with a lurcher.a whippet is fine for what it is but theres every chance you'll get bitten by the running dog bug and soon outgrow it,a lurcher will give you more options in the years to come.
