Marksman 934
me n wor kid went to one of our permissions last night where the owner said she was plagued with rats again, so off we went about 22:00hrs to see what was about. We hadnt been for a while as there wasnt much need for our services but when you get a call to go we did just that! Arriving at 22:30hrs and we met her outside the stables. She explained to us where she'd seen them and after a good 15-20min banter she left us to it. We used the stables to check our zero which is very handy as theyre exactly 35yds long and out of the wind so it suits both me and wor kid fine. Both zeros set we had a look around but obviously not much about due to the commotion of us zeroing so we headed out to the paddocks. I went first with wor kid filming as we need to get some more footage for the Charity DVD and it wasnt long before I had 4 in the bag. This was one of them....a 39yrd shot by me... I'm keeping the rest for the DVD Swapping over wor kid managed 6 with me getting one more making 11 in total, not bad for 3 1/2hrs.... On the rat front we think she's seeing the odd one running about and thinking theres loads as we'd only seen 3 but never got a shot off. Its one thing me n wor kid are lacking.....a good ratting permission Here's the end of night pic anyway...apologies of the quality, was takien on my phone! cheers for reading as usual! zini 1,939
Good news lads . 5 minutes is very good in terms of kills. Once you have about another 10 good kills in the day time lads I'll mix the night and day together and edit them to run into each other properly and smoothly. Will look proper cool especially if you get photos after each shot with yourselves holding the kills and your combos. Regarding the Sony Handycam mate if you are not going to use it as a scope camera, i.e showing the cross hairs you can just press the EASY button on it and it will do everything for you in the day time Darryl. If you are using it as a scope camera then you will need to turn off the stabilization mode or you will find your cross hairs move once viewed on your pc. ATB Si. Quote Link to post
