30+ ferrets

me and my son went to thirsk fur and feather auction today we was looking at the ferrets this ginger bloke was near them he told this woman he brought 21 last month then the auctioneer came along and ginger bought about another 10.

why would anyone want to buy all these ferrets?

just seems a bit dodgey to me.

the price of ferrets differs from place to place, some months in thirsk they practically give them away....

 

other places in britain they fetch daft amounts a money..

yeah mate he picked em up for a quid when no fecker wanted em and gave just a bit more for a few. it just struck me as being a bit strange why hed want so many in such a short amount of time.

Aye hes noticed a market ,as why would anybody want 30+ ferrets . Unless ive heard folk with a rabbit problem dumping ferrets on there ground

Whatever his reason you can be sure of ONE thing its the poor bloody ferrets that will end up suffering they end up in the hands of people that

dont or cant look after them properly to this bloke they are just money if people only bred what they needed or had good homes for these sort of

blokes would't be able to do this

back in the day before ad trader and the internet if u wanted kits ,finches ect the farmers monthly feather sale was the place to be for buying and selling .a looked forward too day out ,, lanark still on the go for feather but aint been for years ,ferrets for a quid shows theres still a bargain to be had

i was talking to a rough looking bloke at clitheroe auction, who said not counting his youngstock, had 180 breeding ferrets. i have bought a jill kit off him in the past, and it goes mental near food, which i think is linked to the fact it never had much when it was young. but he has all different types of ferret every week, in the boxes on the back of his flatbed.

he was a scruffy looking feck with a out of control crew cut and unshaven propper feck off ginger.
