hi lads

well today i had a little bit of a shoot to do at work we've hammered this place over the past few month

and the numbers today showed that lol best shot was a 45 yard black bunny ...heres the scopecam footage showing the hits and the misses (srry about the quality )

good honest footage mate i have still to encounter a black one, them squirrels look tricky beggers not shot one my self had a few pops at them with a catty and as per usual missed (i cant hit F A with a catty) i laughed out loud at the miss s and you muttering when you miss ( i never miss haha) great entertaining little movie.

Never seen a Black Rabbit round here yet, Love shooting Squirrels as they have Lightning reflexes,Also

haven't tried scope cam, But it does look a pain for acquiring targets even though the footage is worth

Good clip.. but how come you aim bang on the cross at all different distance's and is the scope twisted or is it just the way the video camera made it look..

daz.. aye it can be a pain sometimes but once you get the hang ...its still a pain lol

millet...the cam was a botch fitting buddy i zero at 35 so 15 to 30 is half mill under ,,,40 -45 half over hardly any difference mate

Is the rifle on a FAC .? . i have used the same .177.. 11.5/12ftlb for the past 6yr's and it is zeroed at 35yrd's the same as you..from 15 to 35yrd's it is bang on anything over or under that distance has to be aimed at accordingly rather below or above..

nope its .177 mate and sitting at 11.3 ftlb each gun is different just cos that's the way it is for your gun bud doesn't mean mines is the same

..i must admit when out on the bunnies i sometimes seem to hit everything then other day's i get so frustrated because i cant hit jack shite..i all way's seem to miss the really easy one's..the same goes for pigeon shooting..i can drop them at stupid distance's from tree's but give me a easy close and clear shot and i might aswell throw the gun at it..

Nice footage Gary and a true account of the session.

 

Good for the young uns to see that experienced lads do miss too.

 

Millet it depends on if you want to shoot to within your point blank range according to your kill zone size and are happy to use the cross hairs for all distances between like Gary did there or if you want to shoot reticle true and still apply the correct hold over or under accordinly to ranges within yout point blank range buddy. Either way is correct but one is just more accurate than the other.
