Shooting like a 'tard.

Recommended Posts

Yep, as title suggests.

I went out with MIA (Dale) today on one of his permissions for some decoying.

It was pretty damn quiet really so when some easy opportunities came, the pressure was on.

Sadly, I shot like a proper anus and missed 3 or 4 'gimme' birds that on any other day I would have dropped without even thinking.

I knew how I'd missed them - not shouldering gun properly, not overtaking enough, stopping the gun etc. Moron!

Other days, I can shoot like a shotgunning genius and find it hard to miss!

Am I alone in having great days and atrocious days with the shotgun?

To be fair, MIA did have similar and missed a few 'gimme's too. He did redeem himself and got a brace of woodies and a collared at good ranges.

But right at the end, I missed an easy crosser, and it circled back, 10 yards closer and slowed right down in front of us for Dale to miss that one too. Incredible! nearly pmsl!

Today was indeed a comedy of errors

Duncan.

Ps For Sale - 1 beretta, lightly used.......owner reverting back to rifles :cray:
