No one has ever got near them, (maybe the Kinks at one point) for creating a sound that was truly British born... And oh, what a sound it was..!! When the Beatles and the Stones were knocking out American born sounds, this band dug deep into there southern (England) based roots to create a new one...! Though a career that been stuttered though infighting (due to pulls between music, film making, ego's and death), they still rocked harder than any and blazed a trail for so many..!
