RossM 8,113
works well if there is too much cover mate Quote Link to post
joehoskin 0
thanks lads. all i was worried about realy was weather the rabbits wouldnt bolt through the noise and i would have alot more lay ups. Quote Link to post
Tyla 3,179
Just make sure the shooters know what they're about. Seen idiots shoot rabbits in the mouth of a hole, just lucky the ferret wasnt close behind it. Quote Link to post
joehoskin 0
so you dont think the noise will stop the rabbits bolting then mate? Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
Doesn't really seem to stop them bolting, but make sure you trust yourself or the person shooting 100%, no shooting too close to the holes, no shooting through the hedge etc, only taking shots at the rabbits that break into the open, and have nothing behind them. It's a very easy way to have an accident in all the excitment. Quote Link to post

Just make sure whoever is shooting doesnt get too excited and shoot at a rabbit running up the hedge and shoot you. They must only shoot away from the hedge at rabbits passing them by / passed by them. Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
To be honest i wouldn't do it without someone i had seen shooting before hand. As lad says, get a high vis and very clearly mark out where he CANNOT shoot. Quote Link to post
