Only had this conversation the other day....some of the names these days ...especially for boys,i can see some of them growing up with good nicknames just to disguise the stupidity of their real name

went in to the hospital last night around 11ish missus waters went. hours later 15:30 today she gave birth to your little lad 8lb 4oz. and still no name lol well get 3 / 4 that we like and just trying to see which 1 suits him.

What about something normal?

 

This craze for making up names just seems silly to me.

 

Have you got any traditional family names? I always think it's nice when people follow family traditions when naming their offspring.

 

Please, no more 'trixybell' or 'connor-lee-darcy' etc. There is nothing wrong with normal names like 'David, Robert, Neil, John etc'

I totally agree....if I ever have a boy I'm going to call him Egbert. One of these stupid fashionable names would just result in him getting bullied!! :yes::D
