THE DEALER! 77
to me it sounds like lack of experience from the dog and the lads that are working him. if it was my dog i be looking at the last dig of the season before i decide what to do with him. well off for my first few digs of the season, vans outside, digger seen it happen lots of times, some turn into very good dogs, sit on it for a few months. alan626 305
stop giving him looks at stop ends and dont let rag anything on the sod leave him on the chains for a few weeks then let him go to ground he wont show then,, if u keep giving him game on the sod he will expect on the sod all the time Quote Link to post
scent 509
if its the pups first couple of times to ground with quarry then surely you could give him more time .Like if you have had him from a pup til now then another few months wont kill you .He has to learn his job and build up confidence. Not every dog can can enter his first earth and be a legend from the word go ,although most lads wil tel you al their pups took to it like a duck to water lol Quote Link to post
hack 301
wouldnt worry about it as long as the dog goes straight back in and stays until dug i have had a few like it just inexperience like anything else they have to learn as they go mine did it for the fist few digs then he was fine atb Quote Link to post
