floor paint

am in the proseess of building my kennels , have managed to come across a bit of , CONCRETE FLOOR PAINT !!, (like what you see in garages )

once base is down was hinking of painting the floor , do you think the dog piss will lift the paint ???

I have used it in the past and the piss didnt lift it at all. Decent stuff.

I bought some a few years ago at £45 a tin, after a while the spots the males marked did lift.............

Try Rustoleum 5500 floor paint, i've been using it on factory floors that take a lot of stick and it holds up very well.

have got the crown ,grey concrete floor paint , so should be ok , we use it in lift motor rooms ,oil resistnat etc gonna give it a go !!

The polyurethane paints are good and will last a good while. Iv power floated the concrete in my run! looks like glass when you wash it down and lasts for years.

not a good idea to paint floors as there very slippy when wet can cause havoc with dogs legs especially pups that try to run on it and end up splay legged just my opinion

With most two pack resin floor paints you can get the anti slip granuals that you mix in to make it anti slip, if it was me i'de go down the power float route.

When the paint is still wet, throw some dry sand over it, not loads, just enough, you'll get plenty of grip then, hope this is of some use to you. It'll set inm the paint as it dry's.
