it is a PCP, so yes, it will make one hell of a difference. Have a word with davyt63, but yourself a Twink mark II silencer, I use one on a BSA Super 10 BBK, the wife has one on her Scorpion SE, makes that whisper quiet. The main advantage will be when you fire then the major noise will be pellet flight and impact, not the retort of the air leaving the barrel at speed. Trust me, they work!

Hi mate,

Yes a sound moderator does make a difference in sound reduction, some to a great degree depending on what you buy.

Popular ones are the HW silencer, BSA VC silencer, Daystate silencer. These silencers all do a very good job of dulling the muzzle crack of a air rifle.

If you want a silencer that is recommended by many on this forum and others i would say get a Twink Mark 2 silencer. These silencers have been reviewed on verious forums with deci bell machines to test them and have come out on top in most cases.

You can order one of these silencers by sending a private message on here to a man called Davyt63. He will give you the price and all the info you need buddy.

Here is a clip of the start of a test that i did on the Twink mark 2 silencer last year. This preview just gives you a listen to the Twink when fitted to my rifle. The full test can be seen on my dvd.

Skip straight to 6 minutes 2 seconds to see the clip.
