Bootsha 1,306
Wheres yer f****n chariot now then John Inverdale eh??lol , Laurence Dallaglio was trying his hardest to put a brave face on it, but he will never admit fully when they play shit ( god only knows Wales have had plenty of practice at that malarkey over the last decade), but Francois Piennar and Sean Fitzpatrick put him in the picture. Steve Ryder seemed a bit fairer in his comments to his credit. Dare I say this, f**k it i'm going to, I have never seen Wales play such high quality rugby consistently for over 25 years, its a pleasure to watch, as was the game this morning. The way Ireland are playing at the moment, had we not on top form, they would have won without doubt, they are an excellent team playing excellent rugby. France got their tails up in the first quarter because England let them get that way, they have no one to blame but themselves, and a froggy with his tail up is a menacing prospect, on the back foot mind they retreat faster than the Italian Army in WW2 Bring on the Frogs, l'escargot, guillotines, garlic the f****n lot, they'll all go into the Red mincing machine and come out as puree' the other side ( I hope.lol)
Ossie n Arch 1,682
Well thats it then. Only just finished watching the England France game due to being at work........Oh dear. Wrong selections, wrong tactics, poor execution, right result. Wilkinson should never have played, he's from the old era and England need to move on from that. More inter passing and picking and going from the Forwards required IMO. The better team won on the day, well done France. I think Johnson might walk now, he's no coach. Didn't see the Ireland Wales game, but well done to both sides. But a very well done to Wales. Now next week, and however much i hate to say it, Come on FRANCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gnasher16 30,046
Even for someone like me who knows nothing about rugby it wasnt hard to see England were making basic errors and were simply out hustled in every way.....just looked like they had no answer.....good luck to the Welsh hopefully they can pull it off.... By the way....whats all that playing pop music about when theres an injury or break in play ...bit odd that.

Malt 379
Still buzzing! Wales defeated Ireland in a fast and open game. They sang Cym Rhondda & Delilah, damn they sounded both the same! Those brave men in green, they knocked the doors but didn't have the keys. Now next week's a match against the men who like their cheese!! ..and we were singing, Hymns and Arias..

Back to basics for you guys. IMO you should get rid of Johnno and get someone in who can get the best out of your most talented backs, understand the need for a balanced team & pick players with a view to the future, not as a nod to past glories . Thats Clive Woodward then. However, the whole hierarchy of the RFU needs to change first. Englands downfall is their inability to play a different game when plan A doesn't work. They look too frightend to throw the ball about, and when they do they aren't very good at it. If the tactics England used at this World cup are Johnsons ideas, then he has to go. You'll never win a World cup like that. To much reliance on a hugh pack, with forwards who can't play football. Not enough pick and go to create the space out wide for the likes of Ashton and Foden to use. You only have to look at the selection of Tuilangi to see whats in store. ........Anyway, England are out. Good luck to the rest of the teams still in it.
