Rugby world cup 2011

Still buzzing! :toast:

Wales defeated Ireland in a fast and open game.

They sang Cym Rhondda & Delilah, damn the sounded both the same!

Those brave men in green, they knocked the doors but didn't have the keys.

Now next week's a match against the men who like their cheese!!

..and we were singing, Hymns and Arias..

am english to the core. the thing that has impressed me with the welsh sqaud is the blitz system they are using and the all for one attitude this is the sprite we had in the past , i truly wish them well beat the frogs and the worlds their lobster , when you have self belief you can win , when you have a group of young talent who fear no one you can beat any one

Cheers GTE! :good:

Back to basics for you guys. IMO you should get rid of Johnno and get someone in who can get the best out of your most talented backs, understand the need for a balanced team & pick players with a view to the future, not as a nod to past glories .:thumbs:

Thats Clive Woodward then.

However, the whole hierarchy of the RFU needs to change first. Englands downfall is their inability to play a different game when plan A doesn't work. They look too frightend to throw the ball about, and when they do they aren't very good at it. If the tactics England used at this World cup are Johnsons ideas, then he has to go. You'll never win a World cup like that. To much reliance on a hugh pack, with forwards who can't play football. Not enough pick and go to create the space out wide for the likes of Ashton and Foden to use. You only have to look at the selection of Tuilangi to see whats in store.

........Anyway, England are out. Good luck to the rest of the teams still in it.

are you saying tuilangi is unskillfull , for me he was the only light in a dark tunnel this morning

the welsh had a good world cup in as far as the young players preformed at the highest level and more than lived up to the faith place in them by Gatland, definitely a team for the future ,some very

Well from a neutral point of view the Wales- Samoa game was a good game to watch. Pitty the result, coz i'd have liked Samoa to win. Hey ho.   England. Oh England............Why the fu*k do they hav

Wheres yer f****n chariot now then John Inverdale eh??lol , Laurence Dallaglio was trying his hardest to put a brave face on it, but he will never admit fully when they play shit ( god only knows Wal

Did you hear Dallaglio again this morning, English RFU havent got a Chief Executive Officer etc, f****n man up for fucks sake, same as the welsh public have had to do for the past 10 years also when beaten, Then that Rob what his name that used to play for them who's the director of Rugby, there must be an inquiry, yes another one, to see the best way forward. Yes you have another one mate, but this time, put yourself in the firing line as well as others, because you orchestrated the last f*****g review, and your still no better now than then.

England have always had a proud tradition ( f**k this is hard for a welshman to say beleive me :icon_redface: ) of playing top drawer rugby union. A winning team starts at the very top, if the rudder is f****d then the ship will flounder on the rocks, as has been the case with Wales in the past, there are no quick fixes, and a knee jerk reaction is not whats called for or needed. They will return, rest assured of that, a better team, for the sake of the 6 nations I hope they do, as they are an integrall part of Northern Hemisphere rugby.

As a last comment, and to increase the credibillity of the ERFU, step one, Remove Dallaglio from any TV screens, also neuter and do the same with John Inverdale. That in my proffesional opinion will put you on the first step to recovery :boogy: .

Bring on the Frogs, f**k it, bring on anybody. Just remember what Warburton said "One game at a time" and I would add a few notes and the words, "sweet jesus, is all i'm asking of you" :toast:

Enjoy the World Cup one and all, its the most interesting since day one.

No, i think your right, but what i'm saying is he's a bit one dimensional, not much of a passer. No Jamie Roberts IMO.

Watched the highlights of the other two semi finals last night, and couldn't really see anything outstanding from Australia or NZ.. The all blacks are starting to pick up the injuries, just saw on the news that Dan Carter's replacement is now also out for the remainder along with one more first team player.. Not writing them off, but I can see Australia making it through to the final after next weeks semi..

a big clear out is needed, johnson must go, he was always pushing luck with refs in his playing days, perhaps this is where the indisaplin has come from, on and off the field.
