venomviper 129
hi ya folks well i spoke to kev the other day and he said about popping over to him for a shoot on the dairy farm so i jumped at the chance after meeting kev at home and reminding him to make a coffee for his flask we headed off to the farm it was just after 18:00hrs so still some good light left so we decided to make a move to a field that always seems to have nice healthy rabbits in so we set up there for a while in no time at all i had my first rabbit at 46mtrs then i saw kev go to his knee so i knew then there was a rabbit at the end of his scope and a nice clean head shot made by kev on a good size rabbit to and at 50mtrs kev loved the shot and that his r10 .22 is running very sweet thanks to phil as then me and kev had got a couple of rabbits we decided to settle in for a little longer then i saw a rabbit come out of the hedge and headed towards kev bugger that will be another for kev lolthen kev fired and the rabbit came back towards me i heard a smack but after looking through my scope i noticed that kev had shot a different rabbit then 2 more came out at the same time 3 in a row not bad shooting kev fantastic shots were taken that night and both me and kev are over the moon with the r10's as mine is a .177 and kev's is a .22 and both ran perfect all night we had a couple of rabbits in the day light hours plus a couple on the lamp so after a few hours sooting me and kev had got five rabbits each which was a good night had by both of us i would love to show you the pictures but my camera is dead so a couple were taken on my phone but as it was getting dark the cam aint that good here are a few of the rabbits 2 i think but thats about it lol 46mtrs rabbit it stayed were i shot it now with the nv set up now i know i have a couple of lamps on her there but i was trying to see which one worked better and i couldn't decide as they both did fantastic lol so all in all a fantastic few hours out on kev's shoot as always we had a good laugh to and got a few rabbits as well bonus. now as i was bored today and fancied popping out before dark to see what was about and the sun was shinning and no wind or rain to be felt or seen i went over to the manor staying well out of the way of the hippy's that are having another festival there again so i got my r10 and went for a short walk and got a couple of pictures of the land and a couple of rabbits now the first rabbit i got was at 34mtrs i took a picture but you can't see my gun so that wasn't any good but anyway here we got the second rabbit showed signs of mixi so i left him for the fox i only got the 2 as it was starting to get dark and i never had my lamp or nv kit with me so here are the pictures as you can see the VV-TAC r10 .177 tr is running very nice at 11.7 so now i cant wait until saturday so me phil and kev can go a shoot some more rabbits on the farm fingers crossed that is so if i have missed anything i am sure kev will fill in the rest but kev 3 in a row spot on matey i hope you all enjoy shay Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Nice write up and nice photos Shay bud. Good to see the r10's getting some good kills. With the Ultra, new r10 mk 2 and new Scorpion SE BSA are on a role. Si Quote Link to post
