Minshaws73 0
Could any of the experienced netters explain how they keep the clove hitches from slipping and coming loose on a preset longnet. On fiberglass poles in grommets and also on hazel pegs secured with innertube bands, as when driving pegs into the ground it seems to disturb the band and the footline comes loose. Any advice would be great or even pictures as how to set up properly ? I look forward to your replies. ATB Mins73 Quote Link to post
MikeTheDog 153
If it's slipping it can't be a clove hitch! moxy 617
If your hitch is tied correct and its still slipping it will be down to the material your tying it with, not creating enough friction. Quote Link to post
