What sort of insect is this?

I swear down on my mothers eyes, I found it in my Bathroom. I've no idea what it is/was.

 

The other person found it in their bathroom too, that's why I was wondering. It is a parasitic wasp that lays eggs in catapillars. Squash it :thumbs:

 

I was gonna lash it out of it, but thought I'd find out about it first. It's flew off somewhere now though.

i agree with the young lad,find it and kill it

It is an ichneumon wasp,there are lots of different Ichneumons and they are common,the long stinglike tail that a lot of them have is an ovipositor(egg layng probe) and is harmless.
