is the veg raw or cooked.

im feeding raw butchers waste.and want to add a few veggies.

i think the veg has to be either bashed and mashed for the dog to get any goodness from it or cooked but dont quote me on that

put it this way they are much better on my gourmet cooked meal :D than tinned or complete or both , i do put a bit of complete in there bowls for there teeth , but to put it bluntly the back yard has very few turd mines now and they seem to want to go only 2 times a day ,i am going to look into vitamins for dogs to add at the momment i just add codliver oil ,also i add a pinch of garlic bin told its good for fleas tonights meal is chicken carcuss with carrot peelings and spinach and calliflower , a few herbs bloody lurchers starting to wear a bib and insist on a glass of wine when eating , terriers more of a kabab type of dog :D

hi all bin feeding my lurcher and terrier for over a year now on minced chicken carcuss along with plenty of veg and rice cod liver oil and a few eggs fish this is all cooked up, boiled in a large pot dogs have never bin better , less shit coming out ,hardly any farts and the shite is like bullets , question is does cooking take anything out of the meat , i know cooking helps with the veg as it brakes down the veg , i cannot see it does as everything is still in the mix , wats your views forgot to say they are getting about 90% meat

i get a pan not put a load of water in and cook it with a lid on then i soak the juice, remaining water up with some bread
