ant youse guys gals ever get the pleasure to course the ex mod place used to be lifting with rabbs hare they hare netted them not to many years ago hundreds they culled some as they had pox on there face what a place for a hare a saluk type used to feerret there lamp course early to mid ninties nothing to see 3o hares on a walk good stamina and good feet is needed what a place al shingle and grass mixed through

i live not far away and know my old man has been up there with the dogs years ago,all i go there for is fishing now but have been told about what game was about there..

went up there a few times years ago a good walk if you didnt have a 4 wd and the wires running along the ground in some places were a pain but plenty to go at up there and had some good sport up there when i was younger

best nite we had was 24 rabbs 2 hares with one dog but if you had the dogs you could lamp all nite , before the rspb etc bought it over , heard of guys coming back with thirty hares hundred rabbs regulary guys back in late eighties early ninties
