NEWKID 27,531
Never been so glad to be back in old Blighty, went to Vendee on the west coast of France and stayed on a Euro camp, in a caravan. After getting a little lost from Roscoff , 7 hrs after the ferry docked we arrived. The caravan was tiny and the missus and 3 kids + me crammed ourselves in then the fun started, started with my youngest girl getting sick, then my lad and then me I've never felt so trapped we spent 3 days without going anywhere, but the toilet, eventually we had to go doctors, that was fun, £ 3hrs and £100 later and we were back in the caravan dosed up to the eyeballs with god knowswhat, but it worked. Ideal no more sh*t and spu let the holiday begin..... oh no not to be... my youngest girls first time out of the caravan on the back of her sisters bike and she trapped her foot in the back wheel.... back to the hospital..... they wer a disgrace at the hospital so we came home early to make sure she was ok...... The happiest night was at cherbourg eating steak and chips knowing we'd be home in the morning.

Thats a shame mate, it must be terrible to save up all year for the family holiday, only for it to be a nightmare. The funny thing is, you can have 20 excellent holidays between now and another 20 years, but when there's a family get together and someone mentions holidays, guess which one is remembered? fcuktheban 140
I just carry half the contents of my house into the local woods and camp rough. If the weather or the kids become unbearable the tent goes down and we are off.
