Fair price for keeper bred pups with docking certificates at least you know the parents will have seen something not like half the crap about , Id rather pay 250 from working stock as take a chance on something for half the price with a tail .

The dog in my avatar is worked regularly on rabbits and has taken bags of 30+ on her own both with ferrets and on the lamp she also races in the light weights class's she does look a showy type but is infact to small to be succesfull in a ring and hasnt ever even stood infront of a judge at a show or a game fair none of my dogs ever have . Here she is last season piks prove nothing though i never said the dog was any world beater.

 

Back to the topic no just because there bred by a keeper dont mean there better than some of the genuinely worked terriers some keep but all in all most keepers can provide more work than the averege dog man i have seen many a terrier come to a shoot i help on thats been a world beater and never lasted a season.

In case anyone is interested in the south west. I have a vet who docks and gives out certificates for £60 per LITTER. Pups only have to be microchipped before they are twelve weeks, so new owners can have them done.
