I found this a cracking read and some good pictures as well.

Just thought other terriermen/pest controllers might enjoy it as much as I did. From a time when men were men and most of the public understood the countryside.

thats over 6 foxs a week every week for over ten year sounds a bit far fetched to me

not in them days it was`nt i remember times in the 70s / 80s some lads could account for upto 30 a week with a good team of terriers .. Edited by the_stig

remember goin on invites into lincolnshire easy dyke digs could take 12 on a sunday ...

some areas do produce but they dont produce forever when your slaughtering thats a fact an i can assure ive taken a few but that other dudes taking over 300 fox a season every season for ten year an not lamping cause lamping wasnt invented taking them with terriers not saying its not possible just saying it would have took some doing

in recent years i have lamped round deryshire an yet to find a place that can produce that many fox now if he said badgers then that would be diffrent cause there literally hundreds but in these times i dont think theres as many foxs as there used to be in them days gone by...........
