Was drivin the fields in the early 90,s when hardly anyone else was at it..we never crashed a hedge..snapped a lock..or robbed anything...if we couldnt get in the game was left for another day. Actually used to get the police tellin us where the best spots were. nowadays there are too many idiots at it who are hell bent on killing anything and everything...not content with that they are robbing the farmers blind aswell. Killed way way more game from the motor then i ever could on foot but it got to the stage where it was hassel every time we were out..nowadays im a foot man and enjoy every minute of it..There are still some good lads at it who dont deserve the title of idiots but even they are droppin out the game like flies. 95% of you on here have never experienced doggin from a motor yet you sit there and critisise those that do..try it then have your say...atb stabba

walking the fields does two things keeps dog fit and me aswell even when nowt about the dogs getting good walk out thats what i missed when driving fields i know the lads whith subarus and4x4 motors get bad press but done right and on permmission it can be good way to increase the ground you cover and the bag size but for me the walk out and the crack to and from the feilds is what lamping all about my view is that a dog walked up on quarry will always be fitter than the dog that is let out of motor just behind its intended catch dogs trained from the motor to lamp in my view take longer to come on than a dog walking up to quarry and i dont think they you can fully train your dog the driven way

Wrong...used to get a dog goin within 3 nights on its chosen quarry from the motor...would have taken weeks/months if we,d have been on foot..atb stabba

coney got dogs here that you can walk unleashed or drive as they have done it as pups mines are out the pickup till there showing sings of tiredness had some great nites walking and big nites driving ,you cant beat walking for pure quitness agood dog along side a wood qaurry is ourt bang sports on , but some nites good to have ayahoo and blast the dogs had several of these channels out over last 10 years they all had great sport

nat you train them as young dogs witholder sensible dog mines are out long before i hit the feild im going in so when eyes are seen get on , rabbits never realy drove feilds for a few bunnies unless on big land thousands of acres more other qaurry when legal

In the past i have driven stubbles and grass paddocks on permission and i really enjoy it, BUT i dont drive off permission as for me the joys of lamping would be reduced by the stress of looking over your shoulder, or up at the skies!!!!!!!
