How long are poles for a long net meant to be

Hi i've only recentely got a long net and was wondering how long the poles for it have to be cheers B.A.

My poles are a metre in length, some people like them a bit shorter, but if your on soft land the extra lengh makes all the difference

opinions vary and each to his own choice...........my pegs are 21-24 inches depending on ground conditions this gives me an eighteen to twenty inch setting height, again depending on ground conditions..........allows for plenty of bagging at this height to wrap the bunnies up.

i think i cut two sizes last time.. 24 ish and some a couple of inch longer for when the fields are a bit wet
