NEW RECHARGABLE LED LAMPS

Recommended Posts

was looking on ebay at the lamping equipment and thought they look ideal as they have no leads to battery as its built in at the back of the lamp. it says it will last five hours off one full charge and it has a good 300 metre beam. phoned the shop thats selling them (a1 decoy) to see if he knew if any lurcher lads had purchased them. the bloke in the shop only knew of shooters that had brought it and said he had had no complaints. has any one seen these in use and are they of much use with the lurchers ?

I was looking at a led lamp on the Internet. It looks like a maglite. It 220 lumens. How does that compare to a striker or culite? Also it says a continous run time of 6 hours. I wonder how they work in field, as in weather it's the right colour light or not?? If they are what they say they are then they could be pretty useful.

thanks for the replies lads its a shame that they are no good its about time that deben or someone made a good version of this type of lamp it would be great if we could have a type of lamp like a cordless drill where we could just slide the battery in the grip of the lamp no wires then to be pulled when getting over fences quick and running up banks when you have to keep the lamp on whatever your running. most lithium battery packs have more than enough power to last the night so halving one to slide into a lamp handle should be fine, you could even carry a spare if lamping for many hours what could be changed easy. does no one know anyone that could put this idea forward to a company like deben or lightforce

lightforce actually do one with a battery that slides into the handle an is cordless, the battery is small an light an you could bring a spare one in each pocket an you wouldnt even know you were carrying them, its around the size of a striker i think,i have one an its perfect for rabbiting,an also ok for foxes if the fields aint massive
