Thanks Pat. duck are not really my main quarry, but both dogs excel in the water. i'l be walking the river for the next two months on and off. I'l probably head out on the first and chance for a duck. Most of the time i'l running them in the fields as usual and putting up a few pheasants here and there and keeping them steady. I wouldnt care if i never shot anything, watching the dogs work is all the joy for me to be honest.

depends to be honest. if imk walking for duck. usually on their won. then if its just out for a pheasant or anything then id hunt them together, unless i was hunting two days in a row. then i would hunt one the first day and another the second. the liver and white bitch is still a little young so she kind of follows her older comrade a little so they wont be getting out at all together for the next two months to make them independent again.
