I dont know the first thing about falconry but Berkutchi is that bird capable of killing a wolf?Jeeze I find it hard to comprehend that a bird that can stand on your wrist is powerful enough to take down a wolf,but hey the camera doesnt lie....does it?

So, I s'pose it's just the good, old fashioned strike with the rear talon that I'm led to believe birds of prey use on anything else? F*ck! Fancy copping an eagles talon through the brain box, eh?

 

I imagine the secret would be not to run but to pick up a big stick and wait for the bugger to come in

BIRDS ARE NOT MY THING BUT I HAVE BEEN OUT WITH A FEW LADS WITH BIRDS AND SEEN THEM CATCH RABBITS,WOULD LIKE TO SEE A BIRD CATCH A PHEASENT ,TO SEE A EAGLE CATCH A WOLF AND KILL IT WOULD BE SOMETHING ELSE,THERE MUST BE ALOT OF POWER IS THOSE TALONS,
