what is your opinion, just curious?

just done a bit of research and it appears it was tried in 2006 but was a huge failure having sold only about 1000 tickets of an expected 28000.i doubt very much after such a failure that alton towers(or whichever group wanted to book it) would try it again.sounds like one of the usual scare emails to get peoples knickers in a twist. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2006/aug/03/uknews2.mainsection :boredom:

Just pulled this off another forum posted by another member, Quote   what the hell is happening to our ruddy country. ive just learned that "once again" ALTON TOWERS is to hold a "muslim only day"

I know just what you mean, I sent my daughter to school in our traditional clothing and they sent her home Just joking, racism is racism

i dont know why everyone is so suprised at this.those that govern us have been treating us as second class citizens in this country for years, always putting the minorities before the actual british pe

Well, first of all "multiculturalism" doesn't work. "Integration" is what should have been practiced, now it seems things are in a bit of a mess.

Second off, people who don't agree with the Alton Towers thing should:

Find out what day it's on, and go have a peaceful protest.

Start writing letters to the management, media, and whomever else.

Ranting & raving, or posting certain things won't change anything. Be smart and use the same tactics that would be used should the situation have been reversed.

You're right, John, except if the situation was reversed there wouldn't be peaceful protests, there'd be marching down the streets screaming anti-british insults whist burning our flag....

Quite possibly Andy, my point specifically included the word peaceful. No point in lowering yourself to other tactics. Base it on human or civil rights or some such. It's surprising what a well organized, non knuckle dragging protest can achieve. Pensioners, yep, blue rinse brigade, protested here year before last I think it was and almost brought down the govt at the time. All it takes is persistence, the thing is the other lot have it in bucket loads while the rest prefer to moan.

Certainly not directed towards you Andy, but there's a reason the phrase "Put up, or shut up" was brought into existence.

I take your point 100%, John. I'm not raceist but that said, I don't like what's happening to the UK and also in the rest of Western Europe, I feel we're getting very close to some kind of tipping point from which there's no return.

As for your use of the word peaceful...... Hmm.... Yes, if there was a protest by non muslims about this then I think there'd be every chance it would be a peaceful one, but our cultures differ. They would scream and shout and burn flags, it's their way.

My view is that is their problem. People who would like to see some things changed need to worry less about what others do. Concentrate instead on what can be done in a peaceful and productive manner and then stick at it. That's what changes things, it doesn't happen overnight but it does work. No government ever likes seeing people protesting. going off on a tangent but it's the reason food production is subsidised in the EU, to feed the population which makes that population happy. An unhappy population is a problem. The smart thing is to be unhappy without giving cause for action to be taken against you.

I couldn't care less whether people are black, brown, white or whatever, or what God if any they worship. I keep myself to myself and keep my head down. I think if something is a problem for someone, then tackle it head on, don't run to the herd. You can go a long way back in history and see people of different gender, races, and creeds struggle for one thing or another.

"We're trying to get muslims to go to this day because they wouldnt normally go somewhere like alton towers. We are trying to intergrate

muslims in to the wider community.People can come down and see the way we live.It will ba a peaceful family environment"

only place i dont see them is while out lamping and early mornings when iam off to work.

how can they intergrate if only muslims attending

i dont know why everyone is so suprised at this.those that govern us have been treating us as second class citizens in this country for years, always putting the minorities before the actual british people.slowly taking away our traditions and values piece by piece.now it seems the big businesses are doing the same.nothing they do will ever suprise me in thier apeasment towards muslims, blacks and any other minority that happens to rear its ugly head on these shores.one day they will bring in a law whaere it compulsory to take in some muslim people into our homes, depending on how many spare rooms you have available(im half joking here).however i would welcome that tbh i have a big garden i could bury the c**ts in lol

Anyone can book the place for the day, i could book it and have a welsh people over 6ft only day. You short english folk would be refused entry.

It's hardly like it's an alton towers policy to refuse entry to non muslims etc.

It's just business.
