hi guys looking for a little help. just built my spaniel a kennel with a run in it aswell. its only for her during the day when im at work then i let her in the house again.

what do u use for bedding in there box???

whats best???

Now i use carpet offcuts as its warm, when it gets colder i will use quilts or quilt covers stuffed with shredded paper :thumbs:

woundnt use carpet mate incase it starts eating it..i know a man near lost a good lurcher by eating carpet in his kennel..it blocked up hes whole intestines

One of mine ended up with red raw pads when I used carpet in the bed trying to scratch herself a nest up and ended up with carpet burns. I use blankets or hessian sacks for mine. I get new clean sacks from work so they are free and disposable.

Shredded paper, a good depth of it in winter, not so deep in the warmer times. Try and get a regular supply and build it up during the summer months, as when your dogs are wet during winter, while drying them off, it does, after being wet enough, go off like paper mache', but its easily burned.
