hello all i past my driving test about seven weeks a go. and i think iv been stoped by the police at least once every week :censored: i got followed yesterday back to my home and they came to my van door and asked me to get out so i did. i asked wats the problem this time then??? and he replayed wat do you mee so i explaind that im always getting pulled over and he said wats the problem if youve got nothing to hide? i said i was just getting pissed of with it now.its annoying!!! he then said he had a fettish for white vans  is thair eny thing i can do to stop this??? atb fm

OK, now be honest here......are you driving like a cock, or is your van a rust bucket? I've been driving since 1994 and I've probably been pulled over about 4 times, and every single time without fail there has been a reason for it (twice speeding, once with fog lights on and once with brake light not working). What do they say the reason is for pulling you over? There's no way they pull you over and don't tell you the reason for doing it, and if you've been pulled over seven times in seven weeks then you're doing something wrong or there's something wrong with your van..........and if you say otherwise, sorry bud but I just don't believe you. The odd routine check is one thing, but seven times in seven weeks is just odd.

If you're being stop and searched on regular basis, insist on having a written search record each and every time you're pulled. This will give the reason for the stop and a record of what they find. K

lol , it's early gimmie a break :) no i was just thinking if he is traveller they maybe giving him grief . i say record the conversations and hit em with harrasment .

he ain't putting the full story down, I'd put money on it. If he's driving like a dick he'll get pulled up, if he's driving a white van around in the early hours he'll get pulled up, there will be some reason for it, I've no doubt whatsoever.

If your vehicle does have a marker they wont tell you anyway, i was pulled 6 times in two weeks, this was in Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire and the times varied between morning/afternoon and early morning, and at no time was i doing anything illegal, i asked why i was pulled over each time politely and was told once i was driving too slowly in Notts (doing 50mph in a 60mph at 1am) and breathalised(i dont drink), once picking up a dog at lunchtime when they went over my vehichle (all fine, I was told i was pulled as i was in Yorkshire due to 4x4 thefts), i was also pulled in Lincs(my home county) several times. Its annoying but be polite, ensure you are all above board and accept life aint fair and motoring can be annoying..........

is this during the day or at night? only reason for asking is that if there been a few burgularies in that area recently they probably are going to be a bit suss of a van man driving around at night.
